Daniel Theis began his basketball career in Germany’s top-tier competition, the Basketball Bundesliga, playing for Braunschweig during the 2010-11 season. Later, he earned the BBL Best Young Player title with Ratiopharm Ulm in the 2013-14 season. After successful stints in the Bundesliga, he signed with the NBA’s Boston Celtics in July 2017, and later moved to the Chicago Bulls in March 2021.
